Dear Golden Knight Staff and Families,
 
A Special Board of Education meeting was held on January 26, 2026, for the purpose of reviewing the candidates’ applications for the next Superintendent of York Central School. 
 
Eight candidates were selected for the first round of interviews with the Board of Education. The interview dates are scheduled for February 11, 12, and 13, 2026. 
Three finalists will be selected for interviews with the Board of Education and stakeholders on February 25, 26, and 27. 
 
The Board of Education will meet to select the new Superintendent of York Central School after completion of the interview process. A public announcement will be made in the coming weeks upon a successful contract agreement.
