Hello YCS Families - Sharing a couple of important dates to put in your calendar.

1.) S.H.I.E.LD. Family Engagement Night for families with children ages birth to 4. 
We want to connect with families with young preschool age children. You are encouraged to attend the next Family Engagement Night on Tuesday, March 3, starting at 5:30 p.m. with pizza. The night will feature movement, music, and literacy, all in a fun, exciting event for parents and children ages birth to 4 years old. NOTE: The S.H.I.E.L.D. Family Engagement night is for families with children 4 years of age and younger. There is a separate Family Literacy Night for families and students in grades K-12. Access that information in your ParentSquare posts or by visiting the school website HERE. 

2.) Universal Pre-Kindergarten registration happening now.
We are currently accepting registrations for Universal Pre-Kindergarten. The required registration documents are available for download from our school website under District>Pupil Registration. Click HERE to go to the webpage and registration documents. 
No printer at home? No problem, we will send you the registration documents or you may pick them up at the main desk. Call the District Registrar (Mrs. Coleman) to request a copy of the documents at 585-243-1730 ext. 2216 or email her at kcoleman@yorkcsd.org
