Does your child know how to make an emergency call to the 911 Center? Lonni Carroll from the Livingston County Sheriff's 911 Center met with children in the YMCA Summer Recreation program and helped them learn about that very important call, should they ever need to make one. The children took turns practicing making the call and speaking to the 911 operator.

York School is committed to building and strengthening relationships among students and staff. Our goal is for YCS to be a safe place where students can learn and grow. One way in which we strive to achieve that goal is to hold Community Building Circles with students. This week, several teachers and staff are at school to continue developing their restorative practice skills, which they will bring to their classrooms this coming school year.
