Price Increases for Ala Carte Items

Dear YCS Families,

Unfortunately, due to rising costs, the cost for ice cream and additional school lunches is increased this school year by 25 cents as follows:

Ice cream - $1.25 each
Additional lunch (after the provided free meal)
Elementary School - $2.25 per lunch
Middle/High School - $2.50 per lunch

Your child will need to have money on their account to purchase items (additional to what comes free of charge with a lunch). 
Elementary School students – Students may bring a check or cash in a sealed envelope with their name on it and give it to their teacher.
Middle/High School students – Students may bring a check or cash in a sealed envelope with their name on it and give it to the cafeteria at checkout.
My School Bucks is an online payment system, independent of York Central School. Parents can create a My School Bucks account for their child(ren). Click here to use My School Bucks.

Below is a complete list of ala carte items.
Additional lunch (after the provided free lunch) 
Elementary School – $2.25
Middle/High School – $2.50
Ala Carte Items (Milk purchased without a lunch is considered a la carte and will be charged to a student’s account)
​Milk, juice – 65 cents each
Fruit and veggies – 75 cents each
Ice cream – $1.25 each
Chips, snacks, water, juice – $1.00 each
Snapple can – $1.25 each (available to students in grades 6-12)
Snapple 16.9 oz – $1.75 each (available to students in grades 9-12)
Gatorade – $1.75 each (available to students in grades 9-12)
ICE Drinks – $2.00 each (available to students in grades 9-1
