Elementary School Teacher (K-5)

Job Description: York Central School is seeking a dynamic, energetic individual for the position of K-5 General Education Teacher to join the YCS team. The focus of working collaboratively, moving forward in a positive direction to educate our students at the primary and intermediate levels, is a must.  

This is a 1.0 FTE (full-time employment) probationary appointment. 

Salary: TBD/per contract, based on experience. Benefits and compensation are per the YTA contract.  

Anticipated Start Date:  January 29, 2025

Job Qualifications:  New York State K-6 General Education Teacher certification(s) required. 

Additionally, certification(s) in the areas of Special Education, Reading and ESOL are encouraged/preferred.
